To scope, plan, and project manage transformational change throughout Commercial Operations, the Project
Manager will lead the implementation of a change programme in Commercial Operations aligned to the technology
and business strategy through operational change initiatives that will deliver measurable business improvement.
In this post, you’ll leverage your project management experience to deliver significant transformational projects for
our employees and external customers to drive efficiency and deliver on our mantra of ‘being easy to do business
with’. These projects will demand experience of IT project oversight, change and risk management and extensive
stakeholder engagement.
Your will closely with Commercial Operations – Microsoft Operations, Procurement, Sales Support, and Contract
Management – and the Trustmarque Change team, as well as most other key functions and stakeholders across the
business.
Initiating a key project to improve Trustmarque’s delivery of CSP and to build a modern service for the future based
a new operating model and new processes, systems, and technology will be your first major objective.

Accountabilities and main responsibilities

  • Deliver small, medium, and large projects, including scoping, planning and delivering a project to
    transform the businesses delivery of Microsoft CSP
  • Ensure project principles are applied consistently across Commercial Operations Programme of
    improvement and provide training where required.
  • Ensure all projects are sufficiently scoped to ensure delivery success.
  • Work with and support Project Boards and others as required. Provide timely reporting of all
    projects and programmes to the Boards and provide strong governance and oversight of all projects.
  • Proactively seek out and tackle issues that will prevent the delivery of business benefits in projects,
    facilitating open communication and discussion between stakeholders.
  • Undertake trouble-shooting activities on projects as required by analysing the problem and putting
    in place the appropriate corrective action.
  • Lead or review the outputs from post-project and programme reviews to look for opportunities to
    improve methods, training and guidance.
  • Ensure any required operating procedures are in place during transition and provide governance
    around processes and operating procedures
  • Plan and manage resources required for service transition and control budgets
  • Ensure any operating processes are robust and communicated to customers and the internal
    operational team

Qualifications and skills

Essential

  • Project Management – End-to-end management of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring &
    closure.
  • Change Management – Implement change in complex technical environments and matrix
    organizations.
  • Communication Skills – Interface with stakeholders up to senior levels
  • Stakeholder Management – Negotiate conflicting stakeholders to drive a common objective among
    parties.
  • Relationship Management – Build & foster relationships with varied stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Project Management or equivalent certification an
    advantage.
  • Certification in either PRINCE2, Scrum and PMP is also an added advantage.

  • AGILE Methodologies

    advantage.
