Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining regular communication with Practice areas
  • Maintaining a balance between business and technology
  • Connecting digital investments to company KPIs to achieve positive digital transformation
  • The Architect for cross-program, and cross-project Architecture strategies, opportunities, and problem resolution
  • The Architect for complex development projects
  • The consultant in business process analysis and design, and service delivery, particularly with respect to the use of information, and trends, and directions
  • Influencing customer’s business strategy
  • Translating or mapping business strategy into information strategy
  • Understanding technology product and vendor strategies, products, and customer preferences
  • Understanding, modelling, and representing the organisation’s business requirements in a human consumable manner, as it relates to strategy
  • Working with Sales teams and customers across different technology strands to build cohesive transformation plans on strategy and implementation

Experience

  • Evidence of having held one or more roles in an Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect position
  • Demonstrates significant digital service knowledge and extensive experience acquired through training and experience at a senior level
  • Proven practical experience with implementation of Microsoft solutions commercial experience with different IT delivery models.
  • Demonstrable success in managing complex large technology/software programmes
  • Experience in implementing a Digital Strategy with customers
  • Significant experience in assurance and compliance regime management in regulated environments

Skills/Knowledge 

  • Communications, both verbal (e.g.:  presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.:  reports, articles, etc.)
  • Group session facilitation.
  • Knowledge of emerging solutions, applications and technologies, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Skill in attention to detail
  • Skill in analysis and interpretation of large, complex IT/technology products and Services
  • Ability to organise complex technology solutions, that include specific technology deliverables, roadmaps, timelines, operational requirements, and budget impacts
  • Ability to create cloud base architectural patterns and solutions at an enterprise level
  • 3+ years’ experience architecting, engineering, supporting or developing enterprise IT solutions in hosted and cloud environments
