Job summary

This role has been created to Lead a new Managed Service within the Cyber Practice. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to, shape and lead a new and evolving Security Vulnerability Assessment Service within Trustmarque, ensuring it continues to be innovative, high quality but overall meets the needs of our customers.

Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Knowledge and understanding of Security Vulnerability Assessment and Scanning Services, and supporting automated tools to be able to engage with customers

Work closely with customers from initial engagement, helping them through set up and onboarding, ensuring smooth transition into service, and maintaining good quality delivery through lifetime of engagement

Fully understand customer goals, their scope, and requirements to recommend solutions and add value

Generation of supporting commercial and scoping documents

Use understanding and knowledge of automated scanning tools to guide customers through design and implementation stages of service delivery

Ensure successful delivery of VA service responding to and dealing with customer requests and issues appropriately

Build relationship and liaise with tool provider to ensure customer receiving best service and value

Grow and develop a team of VA Analysts to meet customer demand

Through line management provide leadership, coaching and support to VA Analysts

Provide relevant Reporting and Management Information on a regular basis supporting the service

Continue to monitor and review VA service to ensure it continues to meet the needs of customers and evolve to meet strategic roadmap of Trustmarque


Proven technical understanding and knowledge of automated VA scanning tools e.g., Tenable

A background in delivery of a regular automated scanning service to improve customers security understanding and position

Leadership of a small team of specialists across multiple locations

Line management for small teams

Experienced understanding of networking and IT infrastructure

Ability to engage with customers and team members of differing technical levels

Confidence, flexibility and ability to think creatively and offer solutions to complex problems

Ability to adapt to complex ever changing environments and to quickly understand, and exploit to your advantage, such environments
