Nacro is the largest crime reduction charity in the UK consisting of a team of 1,400 staff and volunteers working in over 200 communities across England and Wales to reduce crime and reoffending.
Nacro needed a single platform to allow users to communicate securely and stay connected with colleagues from wherever they need to work and from any device. It must be reliable, scalable, capable and efficient, reducing complexity in enterprise IT and replacing an expensive legacy video conferencing service.
Trustmarque delivered a proof of concept trial for a subset of users operating across the London and Birmingham offices, using a private Microsoft Lync Server 2013 environment accessed through the Trustmarque Cloud. Subsequent rollout across the entire organisation established a common communications platform enabling the organisation more flexibility in future improvements to their enterprise wide telecommunications.
Nacro users can now work anywhere, easily switch among devices based on needs, stay securely connected so they can collaborate using everyday applications and enjoy multi-party HD video conferencing brought to life.
At a fraction of the total cost of installing and maintaining traditional installations, the new Trustmarque Cloud provides NACRO with reliable, easy-to-use, high quality video and audio conferencing tools available securely from any device. It enables dispersed teams across the enterprise to operate with complete flexibility from offices and in the field, and provides enhanced collaboration features for more efficient remote and virtual team working.
