About the Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub

As a publicly funded project, it is of vital importance that the Growth Hub has a well-established data system in order to evidence its own achievements and track progress, as well as those businesses and organisations it supports.
The organisation commenced operations in April last year, but initially did not have a centralised system in place. Information was collected on a variety of disparate spreadsheets, and lacked necessary consistency.
The ability to report on performance was the key driver for the project. A platform was required for recording activities and interaction, developing a set of Key Performance Indicators, and tracking progress according to different variables.
Efficient data collection was also necessary for the day to day running of the business.
Trustmarque was able to help the Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub to develop a Microsoft Dynamics CRM system with its objectives in mind.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a business solution that drives productivity through social insights, business intelligence, and campaign management in the Cloud either on-premises or with a hybrid combination. Trustmarque presented the growth hub with the pros and cons of the options available to them. The Growth Hub opted for an online platform in accordance with business needs.
Together with the Growth Hub, Trustmarque helped to create an inherently flexible system, enabling the Business Information Manager to create his own templates for reporting statistics in the future – according to changing business needs.
The Growth Hub’s staff are now fully active on the CRM system. The project has been received as a success. Staff were able to get to grips with the new system as soon as it went live with very little training.
The Growth Hub is seeing the benefits of efficient reporting and faster processes. The tracking of Key Performance Indicators has improved overall following the implementation of the CRM and the team’s performance is considerably better documented.
Trustmarque was recommended to the Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub by the head of ICT strategy, systems and development at Coventry City Council.
