At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, our team enabled a major UK local authority to vastly accelerate the roll out of Microsoft Teams telephony, when they most need it.

Session initiation protocol (SIP) trunk work was delivered ahead of schedule, enabling the virtual version of an analogue phone line and allowing calls to be made over the internet. In addition, the team also found a way to enhance security by extending their AirWatch mobile device management platform.

The authority was able to communicate effectively with most staff working from home. It has also allowed frontline workers more time to migrate mobile phones when they are trying to help people who need it the most.
