You’ve heard about the risks from vendor software audits – but are you prepared?

If you’re finding the prospect of increased software vendor audits daunting, here is an invaluable opportunity to speak to SAM consultants and members of the British Computer Society SAM group about current issues. Similar to a recent event Trustmarque and BCS held, this is a non-sales event to develop your skills and understanding of SAM.

At this event you will meet other SAM practitioners and IT Managers, and share your experiences of managing audits and software estates. Plus, our consultants will be on hand to share their knowledge, answer queries and facilitate discussion via a combination of presentations and roundtables, each designed to provide advice and support.

Glen Rogers, Licensing Consultant at Trustmarque, will be presenting on Microsoft audits:

  • What to look out for
  • The realities of the engagement
  • How to prepare
  • Busting some myths

In addition, you will have the opportunity to hear a keynote from Paul McAdam, Microsoft’s General Manager for SAM Engagement, who will explain their approach and strategy.

Trustmarque BCS SAM Group members Andréa Perrot and Anthony Fitzgerald will also conduct a roundtable on SAM strategy and how to get started with SAM best practice.

Who should attend?

  • CIOs
  • IT Directors
  • IT Managers
  • IT Service Managers
  • Anyone accountable for SAM

The day is all about ‘audit preparation’ and will give you a toolkit of ideas to take away, which will help you confidently and successfully prevent and manage engagement from software vendors.
