Extended engagement sees Trustmarque become learndirect’s strategic IT partner of choice
Trustmarque Solutions Limited (part of Capita PLC) today announced an expansion to its multi-million pound managed services contract with learndirect, the UK’s largest provider of skills, training and employment services. This second phase of the contract will see Trustmarque transform and deliver learndirect’s technology architecture, property IT services, software development and testing, project management and service management over the next five years.
The partnership will build upon Trustmarque’s current successful delivery of end-to-end operational IT managed services, to support learndirect’s centres and online operations. A number of learndirect IT staff will transfer to Trustmarque, with a new client-side technology team and business relationship management function overseeing strategic direction and relationships. Overall, learndirect aims to derive significantly more value from its technology spend, with Trustmarque driving strategic application development and technology rationalisation projects.
