Back to the classroom for Trustmarque’s Tech Superheroes
Back to the classroom for Trustmarque’s Tech Superheroes
During Westminster Enterprise Week, a team of Trustmarque experts hosted an interactive session with a London school to understand what ‘Tech’ actually means. The students heard from our superwomen in tech and also found out about how we helped the NHS transform in response to the pandemic.
We also shared insight into our colleagues’ route into the technology sector and the vast range of careers available in it. The session was supported by Leigh-Anne Whittingham, Zoe Dronfield, Kallum Beazley and Rosanna Williamson, as well as Jasmine Allen, who gave up their time and effort to deliver an engaging 90-minute session.
“I really enjoyed delivering the session to St. Augustine’s CE High School, on behalf of Westminster City Council. It was great to see enthusiasm from the whole class, with active engagement throughout. I wanted to participate as part of Trustmarque’s commitment to Social Value, promoting careers in an industry that is constantly evolving and impacting all aspects of our life.”

The pupils found the session really useful, with a representative from the school praising the ‘fantastic event’ and saying ‘the students were truly inspired.’ We were delighted to hear that every single student said they felt inspired by the session, learned something new and would recommend this opportunity to a friend.
