This statement explains the processes and procedures Trustmarque has in place to support the continued delivery of services in light of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Capita supports millions of people every day and, as a part of Capita Technology Solutions, Trustmarque is committed to continuing to serve our customers to maintain these services in as much of a business as usual as possible.
As you’d expect, our priority is to protect the safety and welfare of all our colleagues, customers and societies in which we operate. In response to the potential spread of COVID-19 Capita has established a COVID-19 Planning Team led by a senior member of the Executive Committee supported by his peers. This group meets daily, bringing together experts from across our business to monitor and respond to the evolving situation.
Supporting this central group, the Technology Solutions team has its own divisional team who meet daily to ensure we are prepared at a service level – Trustmarque participates fully in this team.
We continue to test and update the Business Continuity Plans across the business ensuring they meet the evolving nature of the challenges that we face.
These scenarios tested explore IT systems and staffing-levels among others. As we work through the scenarios, we are driving actions to increase home-working where possible, as well as making sure our key suppliers understand the risks associated with any pandemic and have appropriate plans in place.
All staff are being advised to follow the guidelines issued by Government and the NHS, including taking the required hygiene steps, in order to minimise the risk to all colleagues, clients, and partners. All international business travel is currently suspended (unless an agreed exception has been approved).
We kindly ask you to not travel to our meetings or events; and if you – or an individual with whom you have been in close contact – have travelled to any Category 1 or 2 specified countries within the last fourteen days, we also ask that you do not visit a Trustmarque or Capita office or event. Furthermore, we are encouraging our staff to minimise face to face meetings and use the available technology and we ask you to join us in that approach.
