How we’ve used Movere to help our customers
As a part on our Azure Solutions we’ve used sing Movere to help many of our customers to achieve successful migration to the cloud, optimise their IT estates and save costs.
By identifying which systems are cloud appropriate customers selected the correct size of server to be deployed and the storage needed. This efficiency minimised costs of cloud instance to be deployed. While identifying which systems are cloud ready, we also looked at associated dependencies with other systems to ensure that costs and a migration approach were clearly defined.
Finding low utilisation of server and SQL database presents an opportunity for considerable savings. Customers can consolidate several low-usage systems on to fewer servers, resulting in a more efficient IT environment and license cost savings. The analysis and reports identified these ideal candidates for consolidation.
Customers have been able to identify and immediately address cyber security risks when assessing Active Directory and Office 365 accounts. We were able to identify which accounts were not required to change their password, which accounts had not been logged into for a considerable amount of time and which accounts were shared by different users.
