Trustmarque Marketeer named as Proofpoint’s Channel Marketing Champion
At Proofpoint’s Annual UK Partner Connect Summit last week, Trustmarque’s Vendor Marketing Manager, Nida Ashraf Ali, was recognised for her determination and innovative approach to technology marketing.
We are delighted to share the news that Trustmarque’s Vendor Marketing Manager, Nida Ashraf Ali has been awarded Channel Marketing Champion 2022 by Proofpoint.
Hosted on Wednesday 21st September in central London, the Annual UK Partner Connect Summit brought together Proofpoint channel leaders and channel partners from across the UK. It was a moment to reflect on a year of continued success in light of increasing market demand for innovative and integrated solutions to mitigate cyber risks. At Trustmarque, Nida Ashraf Ali has been working on numerous Proofpoint campaigns to ensure our community is aware of the dangers of poor cyber security management and how to stop a malicious attack.
Nida was recognised for her dedication to expanding Proofpoint’s footprint within the UK in the last 12 months, congratulations Nida.
We caught up with Nida to hear how she is doing after this fantastic news.
Hello Nida, how do you feel after the news?
I feel delighted with the acknowledgment and recognition. This recognition shows that I am motivated to build solid partner relationships and gain an understanding of individual vendor solutions, capabilities, and USPs, and to collaborate with vendors to promote a joint solution with Trustmarque.
What it is like to be recognised at such a high-profile event?
I feel overwhelmed, but most of all I feel valued by Proofpoint for my contribution this year. I have always strived to exceed expectations and perform exceptionally with our partner and vendor network.
Tell me about your current role?
Primarily my current role as a Vendor Marketing Manager is to manage Trustmarque’s broad portfolio of vendors within each of the following solutions: Cyber Security, Cloud, Datacentre & Storage, Modern Workplace, Data & Analytics, and ITAM. The variety within each solution aids in resolving the most niche to prevalent customer challenges. This is also the key element that continually helps me further build my understanding, create effective go-to-market plans, and execute them in creatively tactful ways to promote and generate demand for each vendor’s individual solution along with trying to gain a significant ROI. In conjunction with this, I actively support the overall marketing team with various business projects and events.
Can you tell us a little more about your plans for your future activity with Proofpoint?
I would like to delve into further methods to promote Trustmarque and our vendor solutions and continue to support the development of the business, brand, and marketing capabilities.
I am keen to continue to work creatively with Proofpoint as they have extremely relevant offerings that very soon will be crucial for every organisation to consider if they intend to defend their data and protect their people. The biggest trend and demand I am seeing affecting everyone especially the public sector is around Cyber Security, Ransomware, and Penetration Testing. The need to enhance this, and train and educate organisations in preventing and managing this is persistently evolving.
