Company will supply end-to-end IT services under all four lots of framework, continuing long-standing relationship with the public sector
2nd February 2015 – Trustmarque announced today that it has been accepted as a supplier to G-Cloud 6, the UK government’s public sector cloud procurement framework, which launches on February 2nd 2015. Having considerably expanded its capabilities following its merger with Trinity, Trustmarque has been selected to supply cloud solutions via G-Cloud’s Digital Marketplace under all four lots of the framework.
“For over 27 years we’ve supported the public sector to adopt and use technologies that foster innovation, while ensuring the best value possible. Trustmarque has been a G-Cloud supplier since its introduction, and we are delighted to continue our work with the public sector through G-Cloud 6,” said Mark Garrity, Head of Public Sector for Trustmarque.
Through G-Cloud 6, Trustmarque will offer software and services under all four available lots: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Specialist Cloud Services. This will include virtual desktop integration and data centre and hybrid cloud services; also available will be CRM, ERP and data management tools such as Listpoint. Trustmarque’s specialist cloud services include a number that utilise Microsoft Azure, designed to assist organisations looking to adopt a modern cloud platform; providing independent and expert advice on which IT services, applications and processes would benefit from migration to the Cloud.
Tim Heseltine, Director of Product and Solutions, Trustmarque commented, “Trustmarque recognises that public sector organisations face a potentially complex hybrid cloud journey. We have the expertise and experience to simplify this journey, and empower organisations to take advantage of the benefits cloud computing offers.
Our ‘cloud first’ approach is closely mirrored by the goals of G-Cloud. At Trustmarque, we aim to keep it simple, helping public sector organisations such as local councils and NHS Trusts to become more flexible and adopt a modern cloud-based infrastructure. Our appointment to G-Cloud 6 further reinforces Trustmarque’s commitment to supporting technology innovation across the public sector.”
