Welcoming a Lord’s Legend to XPO
We’re delighted that our very special guest, Michael Vaughan OBE will be joining us at the end of the day. Michael is one of the world’s greatest batsmen and assured his place in cricket history when he captained England’s historic Ashes victory in 2005, some 18 years after England last won the trophy. In total, Michael captained England in 51 Test matches between 2003 and 2008, winning 26 (a national record). Today he is known for being one of cricket’s most respected commentators.
Michael will be joining us for photos and signing, as well as providing us with an exclusive insight into the ‘transformation’ he experienced during his cricketing career.

Behind the scenes tour of the home of cricket
At the end of the day, we’ll be offering all our delegates an insightful behind-the-scenes tour of Lord’s, the most famous cricket ground in the world, steeped in over 200 years of history and tradition. Led by an expert guide, the tour includes the Grade II* listed Pavilion with the legendary Long Room, players’ Dressing Rooms (subject to availability) complete with the Honours Boards and MCC Museum, home to the iconic Ashes Urn.
With extraordinary architecture, a fascinating collection of art and memorabilia, a Lord’s Tour is not only a must for all cricket fans, but for everyone looking for a quintessentially English experience.

Celebrating in style at Lord’s Tavern
When the XPO 2019 conferences and Lord’s Ground tours are finished, we’ll be taking the celebrations to Lord’s Tavern. This traditional English pub has been greeting locals and visitors to Lord’s alike for over 100 years. Here you’ll be able to mingle with your peers and meet some of the leading names across our extensive network of vendor partners.
